Uneven joystick recess
tkuper05:
When I made my first CP I used a chisel to recess my joysticks. I think they are uneven a little bit. Would this cause any performance issues for the Happ Supers I have installed? Would they perform any different than one attached to an even surface?
NinjaEpisode:
My biggest concern in that situation would be whether they were centered around the joystick to allow free movement of the joystick on all directions. As long as that is verified, while not my prefered way, it should work.

Uneven (crooked)?
That might be noticable.
Uneven (wavy bottom)?
Probably not. The base on the supers doesn't really flex much, so you should be ok. You could always add a thin compressable material under it to fill in the waviness if it bothered you. Maybe felt?

I don't see how it would affect the performance. You should be good to go.

They look fine from up top and they have enough room all around to engage the microswitches. Just wanted to be sure.
