Sorry about that, I was in fact just posting a source for the control panel alone. If anyone is selling one in the Chicago area, PM me because I would be interested.
2PacMan:
Yes, thank you for the link. I'm not in desperate need of a RB CP, the one I have is just a little beat up. I just thought if he was parting it out and had no takers on the CP, I might be able to get a better one for a decent price. Of course i'd rather have someone buy the complete game from him, i hate to see things parted out. I just thought I would 'throw in my hat' as wanting the CP if he does decide to go that route.
PetitMorte:
Heh. no, I'm not parting it out as yet. I'm just waiting for my wife's friend to return the camera. I'll have pics asap.
sorry for the delay. :dizzy:

Whooeee. That took entirely too long to get these pics up for you folks.
The game itself works, 100%. The only "needs to be fixed" things are cosmetic problems with the cabinet itself. I've installed brand new speakers, and hand-built a brand new bezel for it.
The cab could use a nice coat of black paint, and new side-decals. The current decals have been trimmed down and oversprayed (was like that when I got it) but still fairly attractive. The top corner of the right side (shown in pic) has a crack that needs to be repaired, but doesn't look bad
The control panel is very nice and clean and all buttons work great.
PetitMorte:
The sound/power board has been completely rebuilt, and the power supply has new big blue caps. The game is currently set to free play, but can go back to quarters/tokens by chaging a setting on the game menu. It is missing the front door, the locks, coin mechs, and the coin bin. The coin counter works fine when not in free play mode.
The main System1 board that holds the RoadBlasters cartridge is origionally from a Marble Madness, so there won't be any problems changing the game to any of the other System1 games. (The earlier main-boards couldn't handle input from dual trackballs.)
