--- Quote from: Ahigh on March 30, 2006, 01:33:58 am ---I'm out of coin-op once again and back into the consumer market.

I'm moving forwards with a fresh outlook, and I'd like to start off by apologizing to anyone that I blew up at while on this forum.  The stress-level that I endured was unprecedented for me, and I'm very happy to have the weight of that stress lifted.

I am still going to be building arcade controls for the consumer games that I work on, and I may even post up my work on here since it will now be just a "hobby" for me just like everyone else.

--- Quote from: Ahigh on April 05, 2006, 12:51:39 am ---I wanted to clarify the circumstances under which I left:

#1) I was on 100% good terms with GlobalVR and UltraCade (I was not fired as one speculated)
#2) David Foley and Jim DeRose (GlobalVR CEO) were very supportive of my decision to join a consumer game project even though they both acknowledged it would be better for them to have me stay, and appreciated my postponing joining a very exciting project long enough to take UltraPin to the ASI show.  They left me an open offer to come back.
#3) Jim DeRose gave me his word (and I do trust Jim very much) that he will honor the contracts made for compensation to other contributors for UltraPin.

I had an absolute blast working on the project and it will be one of my fondest memories of all time.  The product has huge potential, and I feel confident that Jim and David will deliver the goods that everybody is hoping for.

It was an honor and a pleasure to work on what I feel confident to be a great breakout video pin.  The naysayers will have to eat their words when it comes out, and it's all thanks to the combined efforts of a very large number of people, especially including those who trusted me and David enough to join forces and help us make the thing happen (Brian Smith, Steve Elenoff, PacDude, Scapino, ... the list goes on and on and on...)  Without the support of key people on this and VPForums, the project would never have gotten off the ground.
