virtua fighter 2 pc and mamewah - PC CONFUSION! Please Help!

I cant figure this one out  :banghead:

Im running the PC version of Virtua Fighter 2 and have set it up like any other pc game to launch via mamewah. Only mamewah is behaving very strangely with it, this doesnt happen with other pc games.

Mamewah launches the game as usual, but for some reason key commands made in virtua fighter are transferring too to mamewah - eg I press player 1 start on virtua fighter, it starts but also launches the next game on my mamewah platform list , which means I get two apps running and chaos.

Hopefully this makes sense. Im not sure why vf2 is sending mamewah crazy. after all of the probs i have had trying to get this game to run on my cab, maybe God simply doesnt want me to have VF2 - who knows!

Any suggestions?

Have you tried using {dosbox} and more importantly {safelaunch}?

yeah -

I managed to fix the problem though in a very strange way using trial and error.
I stuck a "Send, {F1}" in the script.
Funny thing is, F1 exits mamewah for me - however with this script it doesnt exit mamewah at all, but strangely allows me to play virtua fighter without replicating the original problem.

Im beat trying to figure out why what has happened has happened, but hey.. whatever works!

Indeed...that's very strange, but glad it works! :)

Is it just me, or does the PC version of VF2 seem to play in slow motion. Not like it's choppy, but like it's running at 75% of what the original arcade did?
