Neat Keyboard/joypad/z-axis control for $9.99 at biglots.

Not sure how good these would really be on a cabinet, but they are cheap, have 10 keys with 3 shift states, scroll wheel, and a joypad with usb interface and some really good button mapping software for $9.99 at biglots.

I've been using the nostromo for years and it is awesome for games on the pc. Theres a newer one with more buttons and better design than the one big lots has, but if your going to hack it then you can't beat $10 for the old one.

I have the Nostromo n52 and really like it for PC games. It's comfortable and really nice when you get used to it.
I never thought of hacking it though.. it'd probably work out pretty well. I've certainly never had a problem with ghosting with it, so it may be a good candidate at such a cheap price. I might check out my local BigLots, but that place is such a dive I feel dirty every time I go in there

I was thinking of hacking one and putting a mouse on the bottom. I thought it would make a cool uber mouse for a mouse + analog joystick combo for some games (bf2 specifically).. Not sure if it has enought space inside.
