Coin Counters

MYX:
when I connect this, do I put in a circuit after the coin door switch?

fixedpigs:
yeah my coin door has a counter on it...

what exactly does it connect to in order to function properly...?

and i had one of those analogue speedometers for my bike when i was a kid...i ended up taking it apart enough so i could roll the 1/10 of a mile wheel of the odometer against a wall...that sped up the process of rolling it back over to zero by a heck of a lot...i think i had it rolled over after a thousand miles on it in only half an hour or something...

..you should've used a drill with a rubber roller of some type in it. That would have been MUCH faster. :)

Yeah ive got a coin counter on my Jamma cab converted to MAME, while i can get the coin slot to register a credit i cannot get the counter to work, a real shame!

fixedpigs:
so any ideas on how a coin counter works...?
