Shutdown your computer by pressing 2 keystrokes at the same time?

I can appreciate what you are trying to do, but why not just add a microswitch button somewhere out of sight?  Either on top, behind, or in the coindoor maybe?  Escaping a game by accident is one thing, shutting down is a whole other topic.  You could use those two other buttons for use with Johnny5 or CPMaker or something else within a front end that is useful to the players.

Can you tell me where can i get this microswitch?
Thanks a lot

mccoy178:
Just any old button.  Here is a pick of how I did it on my cabinet.  On others that I have built, I've put them in not so obvious locations.  On mine, you would have to be trying to hit it, that is why it's on the front.  Plus, I don't have kids, so no accidental hitting.  When installing, you just cut the two wires that are hooked up to the power button on your cp and connect those to the microswitch button just like any other button.  One wire goes to ground, one goes to the positive.

I have 2 black buttons ,one to the left and the other to the right.
I wanted to shutdown the machine by pressing them at the same time so that way won't happen any accidental shutdown.
Thanks a lot

If you set one of the buttons as the Switch button on the IPAC (normally assigned to Player 1 Start), then that would do what you are asking.

Just the voice of common sense chiming in.  You can shutdown windows via a specialy made shortcut file.  You can call shortcuts via hotkeys.  So instant solution I'd say.
