Oh...VGA to TV solutions?

Hey all!

My next cabinet will have room for a 25" screen. The mobo I have for the machine have a onboard GFX, which I prefer in an arcade.

My other cabinet had room for a 21", so no problem there, I just got a 21" PC
monitor. But getting a 25" PC monitor is a problem:), so I thought I might go with a regular TV, but what's the best way to convert VGA to Y/C or composit in
interlaced? I've seen some external boxes, but how do they look?

Thanks!

Nicholas

Personally I would disable the onboard video and install a cheap ATI card with TV out.

But if I don't want to do that?  ;D

I'm mounting the mobo on the side of the cabinet, so having a AGP sticking straight out will be hell.

I agree.

Authentic ATI cards have the best TV output of any. I personally used a GeForce for a couple years and it was usable at best.  Go for the ATI carb and make a bracket to support the card.
