Quick Disconnects - What size needed?
kelemvor:
I'm currently awaiting arrival of my Happ Buttons and my Ultimarc Mag-Stik Plus. I want to purchase some crimp on quick-connects to use to hook everything up so I don't have to solder.
I found this at Happ's website but I'm not sure what size I'd need...

Do all the buttons and joysticks have pretty much the same size terminals? And what size do I need?
Thanks!
vizzinni:
My Happ pushbuttons are .187" terminals. The player 1/player 2 start buttons I got from Ultimarc are .25"; I can't say what size the terminals on the Mag-Stik are though.
I received the Ultimarc buttons first so I bought 100 .25" QD's on ebay, then the Happ buttons came in.....but the .25" QDs stick to the .187 terminals well enough.
Luckydevil:
The 3/16" (.187) terminal disconnects I used were a perfect fit for my P360's and all the cherry switches on the buttons.
I got mine from here...
18-22 gauge: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=095-270
14-16 gauge: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=095-287

So they aren't all the same then eh? I guess I'll buy some of each size locally and then see what shows up and if they all take the same I'll jsut return the ones I don't need.
But if anyone knows for sure about the Mag-Stik, let me know.
DrewKaree:
The "different sizes" are dependent on the size of wire YOU are going to choose. Of all those .187 connectors, the only difference is what gauge of wire one is best used for (14,18,20,22 all refer to the gauge of the wire). Choose your wire size and buy disco's for that gauge of wire.
