TV mounting pictures...

(1/1)

Sinner:
There was a thread where someone mounted their TV in their cab, and they had a bunch of pictures of how they did it.  I've done some searches, but I can't seem to find it...
Anyone, know the one I'm talking about?

Don't know about any body elses, but I did mine. It was easy.

I decased and mounted a TV in mine using the  old arcade monitor brackets (they fit TVs just fine... better than they do computer monitors. The only trick was finding a way to easily mount the tv's circuit board. I ended up cutting off the TV casing mounts screwing them to the metal and simply zip-tieing the circuit board to the plastic mounts.

I also desoldered, moved and rewired the IR signal up into the marquee so I could still easily use the remote... without the IR being visible.

I've also decased and mounted a TV to a wood 2x4 frame when I didn't have a metal monitor bracket handy. That's just as easy.

Looks good, but not the one I was looking for...this guy had the same setup I have...4 brackets with mounts coming off them...he had to cut the mounts and the brackets to make it fit...
