Where is screenshot archive?

I don't really care about the name at all, really, it's just nice for the rest of the world to have the continuity.

The bid is already up to $35 with 4 days to go :-/

Lame. Oh well... we'll see where it goes.

Your screenshot archives site currently lists 350 Visual Pinball table screenshots.  This is way outdated.  I took the time, when I installed by Visual Pinball stuff to accurately create 1386 Screenshots for all the tables I have downloaded.

If you would like to put them on your site, thus replacing the current VPinball pack of only 350 (which is 2 years old now), then let me know and we can determine how to get them to you.   Just give me create below the download link of course   :)

The files are 248Meg (or 245Meg RAR'd) .

You can email me directly or reply to this post of course.

PS:  You might also want to remove Stuzzo's email from the "Contact" link as well, since he no longer would like to get email regarding this site .... I guess.

Well, the bid is up to $55, so I'm out. If I raise it to $60, I still would have to pay $9 on top of that to get it, and I just don't care THAT much. I guess I'll just put a link on the main page of localarcade.

If anyone wants to contribute to the "save the screenshotarchive domain name fund" let me know, otherwise it's going away in 6 hours.

Mahuti. Don't you realize that links are like gold? The original domain and original pages are already linked to from hundreds of websites (1,330 links according to Google). It's already Googled, etc. There's alot of value in that.

Plus, not everyone checks links and fixes them when they get broken. And not everyone does a search to find the a replacement. They will see the site is dead and assume just that. Its dead.

Right, but I don't care enough to pay for somebody else's convenience. Not $60 worth. I don't care if there's traffic, because I don't make any money off of it. Knievel kindly offered some cash, I'd intended to put up to $40 for it (plus my hosting expenses) but that's all the help I've been offered.

It's not my fault that stuzza didn't transfer the name to me... or that somebody else is jacking up the price on an auction for the name. If you care that much, put your money where your mouth is, otherwise don't lambast me for not spending a personal fortune to save something for the good of a community that obviously cares until there's a price tag.

I don't mean to be a jerk about it, but I don't see why I am expected to pick up the slack... I offered to host, and I would have gladly paid standard domain fees as well... I don't see why it's my responsibility to pay a jacked up auction fee for somebody elses convenience.
