IMMark:
Hi All,
Anyone in Columbus, OH  that is good at working on Video Games, monitors, etc.  I have a few games that I would like to complete, would be interested in possibly making a trade if anyone is interested and local, please let me know.
Thanks Mark

There are definitely a number of members in the central ohio area.  What, specifically, are you looking for help with?

IMMark:
Well, I couldn't really say specifically at this point, as I have a number of machies that don't work, work 1/2 way, etc.  Hoping someone local would want to work out some kind of deal.  I guess to give some specifics, I have a 2 slot Neo Geo, all works, but no sound.  Another problem is with a "Hang On", all works but the video color is not very brillant, the blue is OK, but green red and yellow are very washed out?  I am fairly new, have some basic skills, I can solder, I know not to stick my screw driver in a monitor, etc.  I am hoping to learn more as I go, and that is ideally what I would find in someone local, someone that can help fix games and I would learn something along the way.  I would hope that I can also give "education" back to them, and also like I said work out some kind of deal, so maybe they end up with a machine, etc.  I am not looking for a freebie, just a good fun barter.  Any thoughts on the above problems, I would love to try to trouble shoot myself as well.  Thanks for the help.

It just wasn't clear by your request for somebody who "is good at working on Video Games, monitors, etc.  I have a few games that I would like to complete".

Saying you have games you'd like to complete sounds like you need help putting buttons into your CP or something.   But your 2nd post makes it sound primarily like PCB & monitor problems, yes?

I'm with you on the monitor end of things, brother.  I've got 2 monitors that could both use cap kits.  Neither one is really that bad, but I'd love to have them in 'like new' condition.   I've toyed with the idea of doing them myself but, honestly, I'd rather have somebody else (with cap-kit experience) do them for me.

If you haven't already, you can also check out the BYOAC people finder map here.
