Modifying the ezarcade spinner?

<< < (2/2)

JonnyBoy:
Yeah, if I can't find myself a V2 anytime soon, I'll grab one of the ezarcade ones and play around with them. I guess the lack of weight is probably the most common complaint. I'm sure I can get a stack of heavy washers from work and keep them from hitting the encoder wheel with a cotterpin or something. I'll keep you guys updated.

If anybody else has played around with these spinners please post.

Thanks.

Necro:
I'm thinking about getting one also.  If you end up getting one let me know of your experiences :).

Kremmit:
There's that new spinner linked up on retroblast now...

metaHipster:
i've got two of them right now and the weight/spin seems to be mostly a non-issue for me thanks to some of the metal slik-stik tornado knobs I'm using in place of the craptastic ones that come with the ezarcade spinner.  Some of the other suggestions about adding extra weight would, I'm sure, add even more rotational intertia to keep it spinning longer.

I just can't figure out how to get the second one to drive player 2 but that's another post...

Ginsu Victim:
What was the point of bringing up such an old thread?
