Necro:
I gotta go with setup mamewah, remove all clones, then set one of your controller keys to 'remove game from list'.  Just slam your way down the list, removing everything that doesnt even sound remotely interesting to you.

Yes, it will take some time - BUT in the end you'll have a list that's good for YOU and not for what someone on the forums likes :).

And hell, in the time it would take you to compile a 'best of' list, make it into a mamewah/whatever list, get the roms in, etc., you could do that anyway :)

That's gotta be the best way to do it. Everyone has different faves. I went through the 0.89 set in about an hour and ended up with a list of about 240 it's Well worth doing as you'll find games that you used to play and forgot about if you have the snaps installed.
MameWah is great for creating filtered lists.

MPTech:
I planned on installing MAMEWAH, I 'm just hesitant to start.  So I can have all of the games installed and just filter what I want? (I believe that's the way it works, I'm just confirming).

Any tips for a simple MAMEWAH install?  I've read the documents several times, but just need to jump in.

My top 30 and your top 30 will probably be very different things.

And for the record, I hate pacman.  Always have, always will.  Just a small example why "communal top 30" lists don't work. :)
