Screen...How small is too small?
RayB:
Keep it balanced. The size should be proportional to the cabinet size and also the # of players.
For example, If you're building a 4-player cab, then make the screen a 25" so everyone can see properly.
If it's a 1 player cab, you can get away with a 13" but make your cab more of a "mini" so it's still all proportional.

You guys are right. If you build something to fit a small screen the cabinet should be balanced. I guess you could think of it this way....
Use a persons head... If it's way too small/big it looks abnormal. I guess the screen and cabinet are the "same".
Thanks,
Rick

I can't deal with the top heavy poor center of gravity took a regular cab and altered it to jam a 29" monitor in there cabs... I mean really, how you gonna play Missle Command when you have to actually keep turning your head back and forth.

Which brings up a good point. It's almost as easy to go too big as it is to go too small. 27" monitors just seem too big to me. 19" seems about right. This is of course, only my opinion. I'm sure Drew would be happy to tell you exactly what that's worth.
-S ;)
Nipedley:
I've got two cabs, a 19" and a 25" and the monitors seem just right for both - any bigger, or any smaller in each and it'd look freaky. It really depends on the size of your cabinet
