After being "positively nagged" here on my thread to go ahead with a curved
front, I did.

Are you DONE yet or what, jeez ::)

Well it sure was a pain in the butt, and a major one at that.
The front curve is held by 12 jigs that needed to be glued separately, and it was very much time consuming.
In the first picture you can see the "step" which would be fitted with a dashboard (the panel in the second picture).
When the drawer slides out, the right hand under-jig can be seen. The four jigs in the middle are screwed to the bottom of the drawer.

And I think the fourth picture shows that it was worth the effort.

 :o     EXCELLENT.   EXCELLENT.    EXCELLENT.    :o

Congratulations, you passed the test.  You put up with all our teasing, and B.S. and still came up with an awesome execution of a great idea on your cabinet.  I don't know if anyone else has done this, but you are the first I have seen to document it.  You will now always be happy that you made the round front AND kept the keyboard drawer functional and hidden.

Happy New Year c64rulez!

Excellent work.

It just wouldn't have been right, had you gone with your original square front. The rounded front definitely fleshes out the design you created with the sides, and I am sure you will be much happier to have done that extra work when all is said and done.

Also... It is great to see that EE has not totally killed your project building ambition yet. ;)

Don't ever doubt the imagination-fu of DK, for I am full of it.  Now, to determine what "it" is ;D

Excellent work too!  Happy New Year and congrats on your cab being what you wanted it to be, ya Israelishichese nut ;)

Thank you guys. I'm blushing here...
And for me, EOY is much worse than EE, hence the few posts.

BUT - EOY aftershocks would soon be gone, and it's back to the swamp for me  ;D

EOY?

Is that some form of drink we should be made aware of as soon as possible?

I'm not sure if you've found this out, but it seems that finding new forms of alcoholic beverages is another hobby a lot of us share, and something Israelishesean would be new to us.  If that's just how you guys spell E & J, don't bother telling us, just let our imaginations run wild ;D

I'd wish.

It's the dreadful End Of Year where I get tons of work, locked up in my room, getting food and drink slided under the door...
and worse of all - must stay sober  ::)

But enough is enough. Tonight I'll hit it. Big Lebowski or Clerks and some cool ones  :P

Yep.
I'm having a hard time deciding all artwork issues and I want to at least have my cp artwork done so I can make progress with it. Hopefully, this weekend should do it.

You've probably seen it, but just in case, here's a great picture for all you southpark wannabes

After a lot of contemplating, I finally decided to go with the cp design
offered to me by xiaou2.
My skills at using photoshop were zero prior to finalizing the sketch
made by xiaou2.
Now they are zero point one  ;D

I think it's a great design that perpetuates (?) a great classic.
Having the cp artwork done, I can now finally order it printed and
start working on all the wiring.

Thank you xiaou2

 Heya,  Looking good  ;D

Was worried you would have trouble with the file I sent, as I didnt label anything.    :-[

Nice work on learning some photoshop fairly quickly!   :o   :)

Ohh, and you really dont have to sign the actual panel,     Just that if you post your creation on a website, give me a little credit on the site.    8)   :)     If you still wish to have it signed though, you may choose a blue that more hides in with the panel background.. and even make it a bit trasparent.

Good luck on the rest   :)

Looking good - like the CPO, and I can't believe I'm saying this - like the keyboard drawer! In general I detest keyboard drawers on arcade cabs, however you pulled it of admirably, and made the cabinet look better in the process.

Good job!

Now go post in EE, or something...
