Does this work on all painted surfaces?  Painted glass or painted plastic?

I use the heavy duty stuff in the spray can that Lowes/HomeDepot has.  Just as long as you have some good ventilation and don't get any on exposed skin, it works good.  While messy, it is still pretty easy to do.

I suggest getting some stripping gloves and a 5 inch/1 inch tile/glass scraper combo kit.  All those things together will probably run you about 15 bucks.  A stripping sponge is also nice to have if you are doing painted metal or something that isn't flat.

I would also buy some of the disposable plastic painters tarp so you can just scrape the paint off and toss it.
