19V2000 help needed
« on: November 09, 2005, 04:55:50 pm »
I purchased this monitor with a burned up HV transformer.  At a minimum I know I need to replace the HV rectifier diode, but I have no reference for how this region of the board should appear when the diode is present, in place, and not burned up (see my ugly photos).  I'm particularly interested in the nylon holders and any special connectors, cups, etc. that might be needed in-between the transformer itself and the tube anode.

Is anyone willing to remove the cover to their HV cage and shoot a few pictures for me?  Any HV repair stories you can share?  That would really help the repair process...thank you  :)

Sorry about that.  I am not much of a photographer.  I just took these, hopefully they are better.  From what I can tell, one of my nylon holders is broke off from the board and just hanging on the anode wire.
