yes silver :) as you recall we had this done this way in order to maintain a certain window size as well as keep the ratio as proper as possible. If anyone hasnt seen these new vids yet, you should. They are 10x better in quality and serve purpose to display gameplay, not some long intro that you watch a game startup sequence only to see no gameplay at all.

Once I get screenshots done I plan to post as well, although im not fond of seedig a torrent for distribution, perhaps I could get some one to host the screen packs.

It would be great if you saved the start and end frames of these so that low-bandwidth people can generate their own............

i do believe cd has kept all original vids before cropping, i would think its possible to get the key frame data as well. Will look into it.

Absolutely!

In terms of start and end frame - all I used was the nearest key frame in virtualdubmod either side of the "gameplay" part.  I tried to do this as quick as I can and therefore didn't note the frame numbers.  I could do it from now on if it could help.  But I don't know if it would work as I'm getting the frame number from a video already produced by the mamemoviemaker process and not based on the exact start frame of the game - if that makes any sense.  B C and D are nearing completion
