are you serious?  ive been using mame32 since i got mamewah.  i had it working on mamewah .90 or something like that, but ive recently upgraded to .161 of mamewah and im trying to use mame32.  has it been tested that it doesnt work with mamewah?  ive always hated the commandline crap cuz you can just drag and drop and click your way to configuration instead of having to manually type everything in.

but anyway, i was having problems getting my list of games to come up as well.  why did you go to the .ini config method instead of the old menu config method minwah?  its confusing dude.  maybe just for me i guess.  anyway, im having problems getting my games to show up and ive set the rom directory in the .ini file correctly.  do i have to have a dat file and a catver file for the games to show up?

Well MAME32 is commandline MAME with useless (for our needs) stuff added in...so there is no need to use it really.  As I say it might work but I never test it and therefore can't recommend using it.

Well once setup for the first time you don't need to make alterations, so I figured it made sense.  Also, there are so many features now having them in the menu would be totally confusing IMO.

No, all that is required is the rom_path, rom_extension and list_generation method.  What list_gen_method are you using?

Well, I have some sort of good news.  I got Mamewah to work, but I had to use the older version with the mamewah-setup.

It is pretty cool, but the only problem I am having now is all my games want to work in vertical mode, how do I switch them to work in horizontal mode?

Sshado:
OK, I got the new version of MameWAH to work on my other computer, but now the problem I am having is getting it to work with my mame layout.

In the layouts folder, I have a folder called mame and in there I downloaded the 01mame.lay and images from cpviewer.com.  In the mamewah config file I changed the layout location to mame.

What am I doing wrong?
