im looking fo the best frontend for a cocktail cabinet, so that i can run mame and im also wanting to run snes games, as it has to be able to run in vertical mode, all help much appreciated.....

I recommend trying a few FE's and see what works best for you.

FYI. I use MaLa on my cocktail cab in vertical mode .
