The end of LCD, TFT and CRT ?

Well, until now I was a bit sad about the march-up of those hideous looking TFT, Plasma, LCD and whatever TV's.
(Did you ever notice that those things are ALWAYS demonstrated with some animated film like Nemo, wonder why ? Because the colors are WRONG !)

Those things are OK on a laptop, but that's it IMHO.
Nothing beats a proper CRT on a TV, and especialy on a Cab. I will take all disadvantages of the CRT over the disadvantages of the flat alternatives any day.

However, the future looks bright !! Here comes SED technology:

This might be just what we've been waiting for. Finaly a real alternative to a CRT.

heh, i've been to la Defense...i guess i was a couple years early for the cannon expo. 

so does anyone care to venture a guess for price?  seems to me that the price will be just as large as plasma tv's, maybe even more.  eh, i never understood really big plasma screens anyways.  cool info.
