BAGMAN project !!!
« on: September 09, 2005, 10:21:56 pm »
when i was a kid i grew up in south west france and i use to play BAGMAN i use to love that game. sins i move to the U.S i start to collect arcade and of course i`ve been looking for that game, i never been lucky and the only time i found it the game was lost during shipping  :'(
i was lucky to get refund...

so one day somebody was going to dump an old GORF cab who was transform into a bomb jack game !!!

so i decide to use the cab to rebuild bagman. i found out that one of the marquee was paint so i replace it with a plexi glass and decide to show case the pcb !!! i use a 12v bulb so you can see the guts of the game while you're playing...

the bezel was custom made by arcade grafix !!!! ( thanks guys )

Hey nice job!  I am SOOOOO jealous of your set-up.  Just love it!  That's what my place would look like if I were single!

Nice work on the Bagman!  That's a nifty idea with the exposed PCB.  It means even more when it's a game that's special to you.  Bummer they 'lost' the other one during shipping (how the heck do you lose an arcade cabinet?).

Keep it up!  I like to see other enthusiasts living the dream!!!

Gorf into Bagman? That's just weird.
Are you even looking for a proper cabinet for it, or you happy with it like this?

Well if you read carefully what i said about BAGMAN you know why i convert that cab !!!
4 years i've been looking for that game and the only time somebody was willing to ship it the game got lost  :o
that gorf was on is way to the junk yard so i did a favor to the cab and to be honest it look better compare to the original one...

i'm against converting cab but i did an exeption for that one!!!!

Are you any good at Bagman?  Never played it as a youth, and find it difficult today.  Don't think I'm the only one as I hear it is suppose to be difficult and Super Bagman is even more so.

Are you going to get some sideart done for it?

Looks good so far.

I'll admit that is an odd conversion, but it came out pretty sweet.

Excellent.  I read a write up on it at e-pinions - it said something about it costing $20/hr to play games.  Is that how it works?  It'll be me, my wife and 4 kids.  That means it'll cost us $120 to play games for an hour?

Sheesh....got any coupons?   ;)

hi fred :D

i think your bagman machine rocks ma man,iv seen it when you first got it and it was in pretty bad shape, but you fixed it up real good and made it unique, and iv been to your web page as well and i love the music playing in the background, most web sites i go to are just boring,on your web site you have everything and lots of things to look at and learn about,10 / 10 from me.       8) if some people dont like the background music they can turn the volume down on the speakers,i find it addictive as i start humming the tune for the rest of the day. ;D

Bagman is a sweet game. Good choice. It's one of the few old classics that's next to impossible to master.

Also, have you tried Super Bagman? Just as cool. Plus you can use bombs and guns.

peace
