--- Quote --- darn it! none of mine say microsoft!!!!
but at least I know 12v
maybe I can find some thing else to work

Rich man just go and buy a proper power supply from microsoft. :)
If you want to be cheap then the best way is to use a computer
power supply.PC power supplies are regulated, switching power supplies and they will provide you pure DC 12 Volts, that is very clean power.you could use an old pc power supply like 100 watts.
You may also need a help of an electronic technision for practical work, otherwise you will kill your equipment.
Note that the Moderen ATX power supplies are 300 watts which means AC 110/220 volts to DC 12 Volts converter with total
20 Ampere.
--- Quote --- looks like it will also have to give quite a bit of current, too Sad (1.3 amps is pretty high, good luck)
--- End quote ---
yes 1.3 Amps is too much current. :)

Can a arcade power supply work?
I have several of em.
I also have a few old AT power supplies
Funny thing, If some asked were to get !2 volts I would have been poping in and saying hay 12 volt is EZ to get. blah, blah blah.
now I need the 12 volts I never even thought of the AT PC power supplies
