Buying PC for Cabinet - does this sound like a good deal?
RTSDaddy2:
One thing about this board...people sure do have strong opinions. I can't imagine what I might have set off if I'd made this a poll / vote thread! ;D
I'm going to head out to Microcenter this morning and see what they have at the low end. Occasionally (well, nearly regularly, if I'm being fair) they have some good deals. I shalt do this before I make any final decisions.
I've asked friends around here about emachines and, once again, I get conflicting reports. SOAP, thanks for being honest about the machine and whether or not it would be reasonable for the cab.
I'm also going to try and checkout fatwallet.
Thanks for your honest opinions (seriously)!

Yep. 8)
Go with something like fatwallet.. unless you want to build your own. Building your own is better IMHO but more expensive.

WOAH NELLY!!
Man...I've been over at FatWallet and checked out their deal. Somebody make me smart and sign me up quick. They had a great deal with CompUSA that I'm fearful I might have missed. An AMD processor, 64 bit, for $109.99 after rebates? My wife said "By all means, if you can figure it out!"
So boys - outside signing up at FatWallet, what do I do? :D
