Somebody posted a while back that if you clean out the bearings on your Imperial and re-oil them with a nice light oil instead of the thick stuff they come packed in, that the ball will spin like a Happ.

I tried that and although it felt better it was still not anywhere near as nice as the Happ.

Just dug up the post I was thinking of, and you know, it doesn't say it will make it spin like a Happ, after all- just better. Here's the post.

Makes a guy wonder how much Happ bearings would help an Imperial trackball. Or bearings from a non-arcade parts source, maybe.
