Looking for project site with beautifull artwork...
« on: May 26, 2005, 06:52:40 am »
Hi all!

This is my first post here, although I've been a regular visitor of the site for years now.
I'm in the process of (finally) building my own cab and saw a website a couple of weeks ago of a beautiful MAME-cab example.

I saved some pics and videos on my USB-drive but I somehow managed to lose them :(

All I know was that the artwork on the CP was REALLY nice, and the site had a complete registration of the building process.
They had pictures and videos of 2 people sanding an cutting the cab and the control-panel in what looked like a wood workshop.
The artwork was mainly black and orange and there was a video of one of the guys demonstrating the finished cab playing R-Type

That sounds like my very good friend Craig the project is known as the Arc-Eden and is well documented on BYOAC. He also has a very well constructed site where the project construction can be found.

He also provides complete mame sets and is a top man :D.

The site is www.thirteenth-planet.com

Hope this helps matey - Marky

Hi Dennis - Craig here!

Welcome to the wonderful world of arcade controls, there really is NO other hobby quite like it.  I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have on anything you're interested in.  Just drop me a PM and we'll have a natter.  As for the Control Panel/Marquee graphics, you're quite welcome to have a copy of the original .psd files if you wish.

Ooh yeah, many thanks for the kind comments to my good mate Mark, cheers bud :D

Speak soon

Craig
