Good deal?
Wade:
I'd measure the resistance of that yoke and if it is compatible, order an 8liners 25" chassis. Looks like a good score, the cabinet looks pretty nice. I'd like to have an MK1 or MK2 dedicated eventually.

Well, I'm gonna bid on that auction, and save up a little for the 8-liners chassis...
ChadTower:
Hrm... reading that 8 liners tutorial, I think sometime soon I'm going to scout around for a 25" CRT or two so I can upgrade my raster cabs. The part holding me back has been cost, but if I could do it for $100, I'd be all about it.

I am never letting anyone drink soda near this machine. I took apart the control panel and coin door and spent hours dissambling buttons and cleaning soda out of all the little parts... :police:
On the bright side, after re-assembling everything and reconnecting all the wiring, the game turns on now and is playable! Sound, controls, coin acceptors, marquee, coin door lights, everything works! I spent about 10 minutes playing against the computer with no monitor, lol. Now all I need is my monitor chassis and I should be good to go!! :D
Quick question, though... are coin door lights supposed to be 6 volt bulbs or 12 volts? I bought 2 twelve volt lamps at the auto-parts store, and they are somewhat dim when installed. Also, should I replace the incandescent bulb that lights the marquee with a flourescent one or should I leave it alone??

You could have just put them in the dishwasher and spent nearly no time doing it.
