I'm in the market for a ball top replacement for the Midway 49 Way Joystick, but I really want balltops for that old school nostalgia. Just to let you know and btw all your work looks really great.
Cheers,
KenToad

Just to let you know I think both types of Joysticks would end up being too expensive lookin at the prices you can get similar joysticks for.
The problems lies with me only being able to do home orders in my lunch hour between other production runs. This means I only get to make one or two of something at once. This would mean pretty much programming, turning, further maching and polishing each order individually. If I had my own machine or the oppertunity to get a few runs of each joystick then the price would be much lower.
Unfortunatly I thnk im just going to have to concentrate on the washers and a few other bits and pieces at the moment. However if the opertunity does arise to make some I will let you all know. Sorry if I got anyones hopes up.
Franco:
By the way I sent the first lot of washers of and now know the shipping prices to the US from here in the UK.
One pair of washers = $10 + $4 Shipping = $14
Two pairs of washers = $20 + $5 Shipping = $25.
Let me know if anyone else requires some.

Let me know the kind of thing you are after, ie dimentions etc and Ill see what I can do.

I've dug up an old thread that I started a couple of years ago to give you an idea of what I had in mind.

If you don't have the facility to accurately bend sheet metal then top mounted plates would be ok. But I'd prefer bottom mounted if possible.
I've got some CAD drawings of joystick bolt patterns somewhere. I'll post them over the weekend.
Thanks
