Act Labs Gun calibration

I meant that I am going to test the accuracy by shooting within a word doc.  Then, I was going to check specific game calibrations through their own diagnostics mode.  Yes, all games currently shoot an inch to the left.

Thanks,

Have you tried using a different resolution on MAME, to see if that makes a difference?

If you shoot way to the left, does the crosshair wrap around to the right side of the screen?

southpaw13:
Yes, some resolutions work better than others, but they are all still off.  The cursor did not wrap around to the other side.  I tried calibrating within the game itself and that didn't work.  I tried the accuracy by using a word doc.  That just proved that it isn't a Mame issue.  I actually tried moving the sensor inside the gun itself, but that didn't work either.  I have no clue and it isn't accurate enough to play games.  Any more suggestions that I could test....

If everything is off like that my guess is that the optics are not lined up properly.
That may be the reason that Act-Labs had so many returns on them, and was selling all the refurbs.

I can't think of anything else that will help, other than playing with the stuff inside, and seeing if you can get it to work properly.

The funny part about it is that I did move the sensor around and nothing changed after I calibrated it.  I am wondering if it has to do with the lens on the front of the gun...
