grounding a pachislo

This dang pachislo machine only has a two prong plug, and I only really noticed it when I kept getting a mild shock/buzz from the cabinet.  The inside metal pieces are attached with ground wires, but I don't see how it's supposed to be grounded (through the neutral??).

Any ideas on how to ground?  I am thinking of just sticking a spare isolating transformer on it, but maybe I should rig a ground to the cabinet ground? You electrical fellers might be able to lead me in the right direction here...

Oh, and the cab looks to have been factory built to have that non grounded plug.

Couldn't you replace the cord with a three prong cord and then ground the chassis through the ground wire?

Do you think that would work?  The plug is wired to the power supply with a 2 prong molex.  I could splice a 3 wire cord and plug onto that and splice the ground wire onto one of the braided chassis wires, but I keep wondering, why does it have chassis wires if there's no ground  ???

I would do exactly that - put a 3 prong cord on it (Lowe's - $5) and connect that 3rd ground prong to the braided ground in the cabinet.

Not sure why it appears to not have a ground from the factory, but every time I find a game without a functioning 3rd prong ground it gives me the chills thinking about how easily someone could get the sh!t shocked out of them!  Especially with all the family kids that play my games.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I had in mind. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
