I told my wife they followed me home

now on the topic, i envied you until i read that there was a cost involved. i was starting to think they followed you home without any coaxing with greenbacks, then we all would hate you. but nice snare on a tron, everyone seems to really like those.

you're right it's not a truck...it's an avalanche...WAY better :P
I've had that debate before, no worries. and yes I know it's ugly to some. for me, the "ugly" exterior is worth the comfort and flexibility. definitely not for everybody. I tell ya being able to get a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the rain without the sheet being exposed is a nice feature. granted I've only done it once. but yes, it's a suburban with a truck bed, and cool pass through!
now I knew some would gawk at money being exchanged, even though it's a Tron and a Star Wars yoke. ??? you could probably find the RGVAC post and find how much I paid so I'll just put it out there and see what consensus is....
$225 for both
now I did buy one other peice and hopefully that will turn into a sale that covers the cost of everything and that would sorta make this a freebie. ;)
or I could put the yoke and CP on ebay and be done with it ;D

I say carve a big chunk out of it and bolt a slikstik quad on the front! Oh and paint some nice lime green paint over all that ugly side art.

I bounced around the idea with some friends of photoshopping something awful I did to it and posting it, but they advised me against it. maybe if it was april fools. plus you guys are too good at spotting photochops.
I'm definitley one for preservation. I'm hoping to pick up a converted or empty star wars cab at the next auction for the yoke.

Nice find on the TRON, but I shoulda had it! I think I ended up getting the better end of the deal though... trading you an almost entirely intact TRON upright for the wooden hull of that Gauntlet you came to pick up. And you thought I was a newbie!
Ha Ha, I am glad you ended up with it, or at least MY wife is!
We had a great time getting rained on and shooting the bull. Too bad EVERYTHING didn't have a price on it, there was some great stuff that he wouldn't even lead us on to believing could be bought.
I am headed back up to meet the seller Sat Morning to drive off the three cabs I bought from him. Should make for a great time when my 11 year old sees the doors open and has no idea what we are going to retrieve! I can't wait.
I will see you fellas at superauctions the next Saturday. I'll be the one with a Mint Condition Star Wars Upright with a sign on it that says, "will trade for working Crane Game". Ha, I'm NO newb!
Drop me a line NY and thanks for the conversation while waiting for our numbers to be called...
Later~
