Do the Multi Color Cycling joysticks cycle by themselves or do they need a driver board to cycle? Because I wanted to use a driver board to be able change the colors of each balltop to a different constant color according to what game I was playing. Like when I open up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blue, orange, purple, and red ball tops and buttons would be lit. Is this possible with the Multi Color Cycling joysticks?

g1275,

The multi-colored handles morph on their own, no driver board needed. It cannot be controlled. There is a led that will allow you to select colors but they are way too big in physical size for the application we use them for.

What size LED does the stick use and is it possible for the end user to change them?

Thanks!

Sorry, one more question and I'm done :) What length are the shafts? Are they standard 3.5" or 4" or both? I am thinking of a set of these in Red or maybe color cycling for my Robotron. I already have competion bases with repro stainless shafts/red ball in 4" height but lit up red would be sooo cool.

Thanks Again,

I think they might be either, but I don't think they can be both?   ;D

With more than one notch, why couldn't they be both?
