Actually, it should be HAVE.  You are talking about two subjects here, your language and your attitude.  In this situation HAVE would be correct.  For example, you can say my attitude HAS been inappropriate, or my language HAS been inappropriate.  But you can't use HAS when putting both together.  Like this.... John HAS a car.  Bill HAS a car.  John and Bill HAVE a car.  John and Bill HAS a car would be incorrect. ;D

btw... I've dealt with Hoagie before and he was a really nice guy.  He basically gave me a free empty cabinet and even offered help loading it up. :)
