Coolest Shmups Ever

No, not another thread asking what the best shoot em up game is.  Just me saying thanks to all of you on this forum for mentioning DoDonPachi, which I have decided is the absolute best shoot em up ever.
I never heard of it until I saw it mentioned here, and I tried it out for the first time last weekend.  I've played it 3-4 hours daily since!!

It's great to discover new games every once in a while to breathe new life into your cabinet. ;D

DoDonPachi is great.  What is your highscore?  Mine is 16 mil.  The really good players get insane amounts.  Also, there are quite a few fun shmups in mame.  If you are interested in more SHMUPS you should check out http://www.shmups.com/

Well, I've only managed about 5 mil, but I never claimed to be good at shmups.  It doesn't make it any less fun!! :D
