there is probably a version that allows this sort of mounting properly. like i say, i took it off something else. just remembered, it was from the monitor IN the cab. nothing like recycling the bits  :D. it was flush mounted to the pcb. you would just need one that is designed to point UP from the pcb.

edit: a dead power supply might have the right shape...

Thanks for the reply. I am impressed by your safe wiring by using heatshrink tubing etc. ;-)

the wires to the right go to some microswitches for the rotating monitor. even with the heatshrink i STILL managed to get zapped a few times adjusting them!!

I have actually started modifiying my real cabinets this way. Whenever I need to replace a cord I do it that way now. Makes it so much easier to deal with.
