Suggestions for a good PC steering wheel
Hoagie_one:
would like to use it for driving games as well as maybe some flying games and what not.
need some suggestions for a good one that is the most versatile.
Also helps if it can be easily bolted down to a metal CP and as easily removed.
Hoagie_one:
anyone even use PC steering wheels?

I have the Logitech momo steering wheel, I have only played Outrun with it but it's a nice steering wheel. It attaches to the front of my control panel with 3 screw clamp type things and is easily removed. I wish mame supported force feedback, but I will be getting some pc racing games to use that feature.

I'm opting for "true arcade" wheels on the driving cab I'm planning.
The "PC" wheels feel really cheap by comparison.
My biggest suggestion is that you find a way to go modular with it, so that you can have a 270 wheel, AND a 360 wheel.
Having only one or the other leaves out alot of games.

I have an old Logitech Wingman Formula Force (the red one) I picked up from Ebay a few years ago that works great. I think that the Momo is the next version of it, but IMO, the FF looks better - having never used a Momo, I don't know how the feel is in comparison.
