MAME Compatability with Act-Labs GS?
« on: October 27, 2004, 12:12:28 am »
Yeah...I finally finished my cab and began to renovate and update it, with the first add-on being lightguns.  As my birthday was nearby, I asked for a set of Act-Labs lightguns, and, through the miracle of Ebay, ended up with the old Act Labs GS (from about 1999).  Question:  Is there any form of MAME, either official or unofficial, that supports these guns with relatively accurate results...I heard MAME32 can support it to some extent but am unsure to what extent it is accurate.  Also, if no versions of MAME work, would I be better off selling these then using the funds to purchase USB PC?  Thanks!  :-\

heres my situation right now...they work in mame32 but ive got them so where they are about an 1 inach from where i shoot....not very good in my standards....right now im looking for some way to change the way the pc see's these guns...they see them as a joystick and that will never do....we need them to see them as a mouse. im still holding out that there will be an answer for it as they are cool guns
