If you are that close I could probably help you out.
Pieman2004:
Do they have pinball machines at those auctions, and if so how much do some of them go for?
I told my wife about the auction and she said, "Well, why aren't we going?"
No lie. But I think I have to work on Saturday or I would take a trip down to Texas. She has wanted a pin ever since I got my mame machine running. So I was just wondering.
Chemixtry:
They do have pinablls there. The price fluctuates a lot from auction to auction. It also depends on if you want a EM or newer game. I've seen 'em go for anywhere from $500-$2000 depending on condition. The more popular ones like twilight zone, kiss, etc sell on the high end. There where 5-6 Lethal Weapon 3 pins at the last one and they went cheap but I've heard that its a sorry pinball. :P As a rough estimate I would say $800-$1200 for your avg working pin. The acution is fickle mistress, you never know how much of a buying frenzy people will be in. Best bet is to come during the preview and see if there is anything you want to hang around for.

You should have bought my Solar Fox! It was a Bally/Midway with a fully-wired coin door. Oh well, it's gone now.

i would go just to be able to meet the guy who made all those cool vinyl stickers for everyone.. ;)
