Arcade Stick for Xbox
Soulcon:
If you give us some sort of idea of exactly the way you want it we can build it or atleast tell you a plan of modding one to your liking. Basically what we need is...
1. what type of joysticks you need (Short like controller sticks or can you use arcade style?)
2. How many buttons do you want and what size?
3. Does it have to be compatable with XBOX or do you want it to work with other systems as well?
4. If the second option in question three would you be willing to have more then one controller for easier building process?
Once I have that I will tear into my old potato controller and start modding for ya. I am getting good with Fiberglass maybe I can just make a worth while controller for ya.

P.S. It might not be the best looking thing in the world but it should be usable.
P.S.S oh and exactly (please take no offense) how do your hands function are they both fully functional or do you ahve a hard toime with certain things. This helps with joystick placement.(again please take no offense)

1. The left has to be a arcade stick. But can it also be built with click function? Maybe this is possible with seperate buttons?
And are the movements with the arcade stick the same as the normal xbox controller? I mean can I strafe with it? And for the right-stick: It can be a shorter one, or maybe like the normal right-thumbstick but 3 cm higher.
2. I want all the buttons like the xbox controller (x,a,b,y,white button, black button, left trigger, right trigger, start, back) The sizes neet to be the same like on my arcade stick now. I will measure the sizes later on.
But they have to be a bit bigger then these: http://justplaingaming.com/index.htm And they have to be analog.
3. It has only to be compatible with Xbox.
Let me know what you think or if you have to know more just ask it.
I will post later on, because I'm going away now. Thanmks for helping me.
Greetz Alex.

I have a spinal cord injury at C4/C5. Don't know if it means anything.
My hands don't function normally but now I have the Logic 3 arcade stick and with that I can play very well. My hands have good strength but my fingers work very slow. I can use a normal controller and I can handle the normal thumbsticks, but then I have the problem that I can't use the triggers because my fingers are too stiff.
I'll try to make a picture of a arcade stick how I think it will be good for me to handle.

Just a thought, now I have this one: http://www.spectravideo.com/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=133&category_id= Maybe it's an option that I bye a 2nd which you can use for making a new one? It costs only 18 pounds, and then you don't need to bye expensive stuff for it. Only thing is the right thumbstick. Your thoughts?
