25" Monitor in a 25" cab? Should I do it?
spara:
Wow that looks great in there! I ordered my WGK7400 yesterday. No word yet on shipping it here.
How did you mount the monitor to the cabinet? Thanks for the pic.

Take note when attatching such a massive control panel. That thing is much longer (front to back) than mine. It sticks pretty far out away from the machine. Weight of the CP itself along with people leaning on it will start to pull it down. With a pivot point only 3 or 4 inches from the back edge, you're left with nearly a 12" lever to push down and tear your control panel up (not to mention whatever mounts you used).
Also, if the thickness isn't taken into serious account you may find yourself with a hole between your CP and the monitor.
spara:
Yeah, mounting it will be a real trick. I am going to look at a few options before I jump into and do something that isn't strong enough. It is 17" or so deep.
As far as a hole between the cp and monitor, that's a very real possibility. Something else to work out! ::)

If my memory serves me correctly, I think mine was either 12" or 15" deep. Can't remember which at the moment. But even at that length, pushing down on the front made a creaking sound... and I had that thing attatched with probably almost 10 large carriage bolts underneath and inside.
