Red Octane USB Atari Joysticks and Z26
« on: August 17, 2004, 08:54:38 pm »
I just got the red octane usb atari joysticks but I dont know how to configure them in Z26. The movement works but not the fire button. The fire button is mapped to button 2 when I look at it under the control panel. How do I remap it to button 1 or how can I change the setting in Z26? Under settings on Z26 I only see the option to choose keyboard or joystick but not which button to use.
Experience is directly proportional to equipment ruined

Hey man,

I just got my red octane joystick too and had the exact same problem. The fire button wouldn't work.

I couldn't figure out what the problem was, so I loaded up an older version of Z26. Version 2.09 to be exact, and it works perfectly.

I don't know why, but it works so i'm leaving well enough alone.

Peace,
Craig
