I have a Sega MC 2000 S monitor from and old turbo cab that I am going to try to wire up and use as a test monitor for some Jamma boards I have.
I just want to make sure of one thing.
I have an ISO transformer 110/100 for the main suppply but there is also another power line that goes to a small board on the top back side of the monitor. I have looked in the manual and it says that it is to be hooked up to 100v or 120v.
I just want to make sure that it's OK to hook this up directly to my distribution block (so it is non isolated) or does this need to be isolated as well.
Thought I had better check with you experts and I wanted to be safe rather than sorry

Thank you
Edit due to my terrible descrpition of what part I am on about I have highlighted the part in the manual.
