Ms Pac Gal bootleg....is this a rarity at all

(1/1)

GMZombie:
i have a working ms pac gal bootleg with no namco or midway logos on board. board is split into 2 boards and i didnt think i seen this in mame. it plays the same as ms pac man but has different names. just wonderted if anybody has seen this mamed...

Zakk:
It would be more likely to find this in Pacmame.  There were a ton of bootleg Mspacs made...

you might actually be able to change the names of the characters back to regular ones using the dip switches.  I've got a bootleg ms pac, and I'm -almost- positive that they used to be japanese names, and I found the schematic and switched them back to good old namco (bootleg) names.

a good place to ask would be the http://www.mame.net general/serious forum. post some screenshot pics there of the parts that seem unique and they could tell you if it should be dumped or not.

i hope its another rare board that finds its way into mame.  :)

GMZombie:
well i hope it is rare too cause i would love to help out the mame community as it has already done so much for me! :) i will get soem photoshots today and get them on the mame.net board.

Dav:
There's so many pac and ms pac bootlegs that they usually don't accept submissions unless the gameplay is different somehow.  Different mazes or something unusual about it.
