Flush or recessed Plexi/Bezel/Monitor mounting...

<< < (2/2)

crashwg:
Take your tape measure to your local electronics store if you want the biggest TV that will fit.

Reason I say this is because you can probably get a 25" tv into a 24" opening.

Example: my 27" Panasonic has an outside width of just about 25"...

Plus 24" TVs are available, although far and inbetween, they do exist.

SideShow Rob:
Thanks for the feedback guys - looks like recessed is the way to go.

As for the TV size...it seems impossible to get a 25" TV without having wide speakers attached to the sides. Tried all over the weekend to find either a mono 25" TV or a stero TV with the speakers mounted underneath the screen...or any 4:3 25" TV small enough for the 24" gap...no joy.

The bezel is on a 7-10 day wait until Happ UK gets some stock in from Happ USA - so I will have another search a bit further a field...

Don't forget you can always strip the clothes off your 25 inch TV :).  Its easy enough to do just a little more work mounting it. But it will shrink down the size of the TV. Just DO NOT TOUCH THE SUCTION CUP WITH THE WIRE. You will go BIZZZZZAP if you do. Its no fun ;).

I once got a TV that wasn't working, and I noticed this big red cable coming from this suction cup was detached from the circuit board.

So I soldered it back on.  ;D

This is back in the day before I knew that a tube could carry a charge.

Lucky for me. It didn't have a charge.
