There's not a huge market for these things. Having custom PCBs made can be expensive in small batches. I'm sure if he was fabbing thousands of them and selling them in every BestBuy he could sell them for a lot less.

Note: TwoBits sell the same thing for $199 !!!

I know you said you didnt want the computer version of golden tee in your cab, but thats probably the cheapest and easiest way. I am going to do that, I own the game right now, the graphics are the same, and the commentator voices, what they say, and the sound effects are all the same, the only difference is it kind of help you out, it lets you know where to hit the ball and how hard to swing and everything. All in all its actually easier than the real golden tee, and everything is almost the same, you can get it on ebay for about 3 dollars. Just thought id say that, thanks.

i have a golden tee machine with all the pcb's (96-2001) and the gt pc version. i think the pc verion is harder to play. i consistantly shoot from -10 to -16 with my best game at -20 on the machine. i only shoot from par to -6 on the pc version.

yeah,a  signal converter for video signals can be expensive.  It might be just worth while to sell the ipac and tv, go with the above suggestion, and modify your cab accordingly.  You will get a better picture (there is signal loss during conversions) and it would cost about just as much.  And it would be done right :)

Does the signal loss wholly distort the picture, or does it give 99 of the 100% authenticity that purists obsess over like with TVs vs. arcade monitors?

Spend lots of Cash- Buy products to get ur Golden tee to work on a tv.

Spend about 4 bucks, or free if you already own it- Just use the PC version.
