Ms PacMan Speedup Cheat

Hello. I'm probably going to get flamed by this but I was wondering if the speed up for Ms. Pacman is a cheat or if I need a different romset.

If it is a cheat could someone please let me know hot to set this up?

you need to have cheats enabled, then go into dip switches (tab) and turn on the speedup cheat.
