Astro City monitor
« on: April 24, 2004, 11:23:25 pm »
I am trying to set up AdvanceMame on an Astro City cabinet.  The problem is that I do not have a manual, and I can't figure out what make/model the monitor is.  In looking at the back, I see:

Sega Part #: 200-5242-15-04
Description: Color Display Assy 29 Type, 100V

But I cannot find reference to that part number, and I don't see much else.  There is a Toshiba sticker on the back of the tube, but I think that only relates to the tube.

Does anyone know how to figure it out?

Thanks.

Are there any other numbers on that sticker that had the Sega 200-5242-15-04 on it?

Sega liked to use Nanao monitors in many of their games. Contact the tech support dept at Sega USA in Fremont, Calif at (415) 701-6580. They can probably tell you exactly what you have and get you the Sega part number for the monitor service manual.

Thanks.  I think there was also a serial number, but I don't remember anything else.  The thing I am trying to determine is how t oset modelines in advance mame and if:

device_video_pclock 5-90
device_video_hclock 15.75
device_video_vclock 50-60

Are definitely the correct values for the monitor.

Thanks
