Monitor question (off-topic, but needs love)

(1/2) > >>

steve_pss:
Sorry to post in here but I need to know if anyone has an online source for the WG U3000 manual. I tried the monitor forum but there isn't a whole lot of traffic in there.

Short of the manual, where the heck do I plug the power connector in? I see a likely spot but I don't want to chance it.

and...

While I have your attention (assuming this post isn't rightfully deported) I noticed the refurbed WG I bought has a metal guard of sorts  on the right hand back side (looking from behind) thats attached at one point by a screw to a plastic upright. The attaching point is cracked. Will this mess anything up? It looks more like an attachment point than a connection point..

Ken Layton:
The U-3000 monitor is a current production model and the manual is under copyright. The ONLY source is to call Wells-Gardner and order it (1-800-336-6630).

Here are the part numbers for the various sizes/versions of the U-3000:

069X2815-100 (14", 17", and 19" CGA)

069X2812-100 (27" VGA)

069X2926-100 (33" CGA)

069X2868-100 (33" EGA)

069X2876-100 (33" VGA)

069X2950-100 (39" CGA)

steve_pss:
Thanks Ken, I'm trying to avoid ordering it as I just bought it (refurb) and expected a manual..

Ken Layton:
When you buy a monitor from Wells-Gardner you never get a manual with it. You have to buy it seperately.

steve_pss:
Well that's one way to squeeze another buck I suppose.
