all company logos are there for download and other stuff too, found a few arcade stuff there!

also ask in the forums for anything and it might just pop-up. theres one guy that says he has all cartoons/anime/comic characters all in vector, im trying to pursuade him in sending me them.

if any of u guyz that have sites can do something to persuade him msg me so i can forward u his email

No, stay away from JPEG!
JPEG is a "lossy" format. It "re-encodes" the graphics so it compresses to a smaller filesize. Even at a high quality level, which your eyes might not notice, there is still some corruption going on. It is especially destructive with solid colors, gradients, and the edges of solid shapes (like text).

24 bit TGA is pretty good. 24 bit BMP. PSD. etc... use these so you preserve the highest quality possible.

What about TIFF format?  What level of descreening should a person use when scanning? RGB or CYMA color?
